Another photo of the magnificent fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. In the background between the stone formations, you can see the volcano Ercyes Dagi, who is the "creator" of the landscape of Cappadocia.
Travelling around in this area, you can see in many places the layers of sediments of volcanic ashes in different colours in the eroding rocks and mountains. |
