[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The famous Pamukkale thermal springs and travertine pools are located on the site of the Roman town of Hierapolis. Fresh deposits of calcium carbonate give the pools a dazzling white coating, which reflects the sky above. You can walk through the hot springs during your ascent - they have been used since Roman times for their therapeutic powers.

Before reading your explanation, I thought it was an ice formation. Great capture, the water looks so clear, I want to visit these hot springs one day.

It's a very good shot of the pools.
I have been there in 1989 but the shape of the pools was very bad and they were quite dirty.
I know that the authorities took some recovery steps and I am glad to see that it looks much better now.

Beautiful!

Very clear beautiful water, great picture!

Very beautiful photo of an unknown place for me. I also thought that it was some snow but your note informed me about the opposite. The composition of the image where we see several ponds is made well and I like the colour of the water.
Très belle photo d'un endroit inconnu pour moi. J'ai pensé aussi que c'était de la neige mais votre note m'a informé du contraire. La composition de l'image où l'on voit plusieurs bassins est bien faite et j'aime la couleur de l'eau.

Great pic! I have better ones though :) I went there last year and took some great pictures...too bad I don't have a scanner!

awesome landscape, just missing a little sharpness, that's all...

beautifull picture

great shot!!!

This is a very well taken foto of Pamukkale, I have been there many times and I think it was not easy to take a shot which effects the dept very well and give some contrast, you did it. Nice explanation too.

Phantastic Landscape.
I was so close to there, but because I was short in time I didn't visit there. What a pity your picture is very nice.
Regards
Pedro

What a wonderful picture! The water looks so beautiful, so cool...thanks for sharing it to TE.
