Photographer's Note
Ortaköy is a very special place in Istanbul - peacuful, quiet... many of the different features of this crazy city mix here.

thanks for the very useful WSs. I do not post pics with non-straighthened horizons anymore! ;)

Good shot! I particularly like the juxtaposition of the traditional and modern (fishing/building vs suspension bridge). My only suggestions are, think about rotating the image about 3.9°CW to correct the horizon, and perhaps consider running AutoContrast to add some true blacks. I've posted a Workshop to illustrate this! Excellent first post :-D

An interesting shot. Great mixture - a fishing shot with lovely architecture. I did a WS to correct the horizon. Welcome to TE.

You've caputured a wonderful view of life inOrtaköy. The old couple on the bench, another person sitting and thinking, the man at work fishing, as well as the old architecture of the building (column a bit crooked though), and the modern architecture of the bridge. I'd like to see some more of your photos, please.

Great daily scene that hightlights the mix of history, architecture and activity very very well.
