Photographer’s Note
Today, Thursday, it's the day of local open market/bazaar in Mugla. This old man is trying to sell some little plastic toys for kids.
He is so talkative. Our little chat took approximately half an hour.
After a little while of a chat between us I asked for his permission to take a photo. He had only one condition. He wanted me to bring him a printed copy of the photo and to drink some tea with him as being his guest. I was so affected.
This was a typical example of the famous Turkish hospitality and made me feel so proud to see that we do still preserve some of our values even though this rapidly changing world.

Hi bulent
Excellent dof, sharpness, & lighting. Good note. I like the graphism of the brightly lit finger, against his shadowed, deeply textured face. Well done!

I hope you enjoyed the tee, as the chat too, Bulent.
I almost can hear his advises.
His face, the raised finger - a typical old man, I like how you captured him.
But there are some... how shell I explaine?
As far as I understand, his face was your target. So I would crop the plant from the left.
The bright format you use, emphasised by the triangle formed by his arms, with its base on the bottom, it makes somehow "heavy"
Take a look to the WS. I hope it will explain easier and better as if I write about

You must be lucky to be at the right time at the right place to find types like him, Bulent. A weather beaten face, carved by life - the raised finger telling the 'younster' - listen to me, I'm going to tell you some facts of life...
Well seen and taken!

Hi Bulent,
Nice portrait under good light and with good use of the DoF, but this one differs from others due to the pointing finger that adds a narrative dimension to the man and makes it more interesting.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves
