Photographer’s Note

We travelled 3 times in Turkey, a Country that we love!
In the first travel in the 1990 we visited the Mediterranean West coast, Ephesus, Pergamon, Troy...
The secod one we visited only Istanbul for a week, and finally in the summer 2002 we did a big and great tour of Central and Eastern Turkey.
From Istanbul by bus we went to Cappadocia, Nemrut Dagi, Van Province, Kas, Pergamon and Izmir and came back to Istanbul.

Cappadocia is one of the most beautiful region of the whole world.
The Nature was probably drunk when created Cappadocia.
All is different from any other place!
Near the small village of Uçhisar (wonderful place), on the road to Goreme we saw that fantastic Rocky Dunes!
from one hundred meters i thinked that was a sandy hill, but when i walked nearest...

Hi Paulo, Very nice image with wonderful shadows on the dunes. I did a workshop for fun, mainly to remove the line from scanning, but also sharpened & warmed it up with yellow filter.

This is a very strange and impressive picture. I like its graphic aspect. I am just wondering what is the scale of these dunes.

Hello Paolo, this is a great composition of the dune sands. Great angle. Maybe with a PP software, you could clone the white line at the bottom.
