Looking west from the top of the ski jump tower on Aziziye Bastion, into the setting sun. I've cropped the sky in camera for obvious reasons. The strong backlight and long shadows are clearly visible along with the poplar trees changing from brown to gold to green at the start of Spring. I've added saturation and contrast and reduced the highlights intensity.

glorious tableau image this. So much to look at in this bird's eye view and all so sharp and intriguing. I love the light and the way it strikes the trees, turning them into feathers and casts such delicious shadows. A toy village effect that is captivating and imaginative. I really like it!

Je crois bien que je ne sauterais pas. Cela semble très haut et la piste d'atterrissage très courte. Je crois bien que je vais choisir un autre sport.

The wideness of the area has an effect of depth. The point of view is showing the details and colours of the architecture of the buildings. The good luminosity is bringing out the colours. Have a nice day.

Interesting architecture and the golden poplars make it look a bit like a cartoon village. The mosque is great. Good composition. Hope your enjoying your time in Turkey.

I tend to think this was taken through a (clean) glass window, and you made a good choice cropped the sky's, as light was in front.
Looks as a modern town, from the high point collected this. Superb clear shot.

I don't think I have ever seen an aerial view of a town which looked more like a toytown. I suppose that comes from the regularity of the buildings, most seeming to be of the same plan, with just variations in size. Your view has captured the scene with fine details. I like how the backlit trees have this golden appearance.
My warm regards,

La vue du haut du tremplin de ski est très intéressante et donne une belle idée de ta nouvelle ville de résidence.

Very nice birdseye view of Erzurum. As everywhere in Turkey also in Erzurum modern urbanising is on full speed.
The yellow color of popplars adds a nice effect to the compo.
TFS and have a nice weekend

Consider the backlight, you managed well the light here. Everything is well exposed and clear to see. I sometimes have problem with the strong shadows and or it gets a bit washout without any contrast. Nice overall bird eye view of the city. I love the light green of the newly sprout leaves. Beuatiful shot.

It's an excellent POV you got here, aswell as a superb depth of field. What wins it for me is the light on the yellow trees. They stand out even in the thumbnail. A lovely daily life scene.
Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day

This is a very pretty photo of a not-so-pretty place. I like the variety of colors in the photo and appreciate your light management against the sun. This is what good photography is all about: presenting the subject well, whether the subject is pretty or not. TFS from a place I would love to see for myself.
