Photographer's Note
This is the second ome from the beautiful antique city of Laodicea.
Not far away from the "better known" Hieropolis, Laodicea is another beautiful city of antiquity, which is been still excavated, and every season brings new and quite interesting evidences of it's glorious past top daylight.
Here thousands of marble pieces, grouped and numbered my archeologists. Waiting for the day where they shall be assembled. Like parts of a giant puzzle.

Birkaç gün boyunca, Denizlideki antik Laodikya kentine ait bazı görseller yükleeyeceğim buraya.
Laodikya, Pamukkale kadar ünlü bir antik kent olmasa da, orada yapılmakta olan kazılar, her sezon, geçmişe ait yeni ve birbirinden ilginç güzellikler getiriyor gözümüzün önüne.
Buradaki binlerce mermer parça, temizlenmiş, numaralanmış ve de belgelenmiş. Biraraya getirilecekleri günü bekliyorlar.

what is exiting.... all these pieces have a past and now they have a future !!!!!!!!!
every time I select Turkey in TE ..... I see many fantistic photos, it is a country that I definitley want to visit.
