Photographer's Note

This window is one of the old house's at the site ofn the antque city of Aphrodisias, where during the excavation time (im summer months) young archeologists and students stay.
Here they have put gyspum copies of two marble heads on the corners of the window. The scenery gives the feeling as if two men was there sitting behind the window and chatting ! Who knows, maybe they tell to eachother the latest gossips about gods and goddesses !!

Bu pencere Afrodisyas antik kentinde kazı süresince arkeologların ve genç arkeoloji talebelerinin yaz aylarında kaldıkları eski bir Geyre evi’nin penceresi.
Pencere içinde sağ ve sol köşelerde iki mermer heykel başı kopyası, birbirleri ile konuşur gibi.
Kimbilir belkide tanrı ve tanrıçalar hakkındaki en son dedikoduları anlatıyorlardır birbirlerine !!

great composition with good details of the stone work, texture & colours are very nice.

Hello Mesut,
A well spotted detail given an amusing context by the title and note. The rough stones of the wall nicely surround the neatly polished heads. There is an enjoyable symmetry to the composition.
