Ciao "vicina"
oggi qui è la festa dei lavoratori, questa foto ne ritrae uno che è contento, probabilmente ha ragione, visto che stà diventando sempre più difficile mantenere il proprio.
Buona giornata
Carlo

Hi Elvira
A specific way to carry cakes in Turkey. You noticed this young man, but he noticed you too by making the V sign with one of his hands.
Bye bye

Bonjour Elvira,
This is one great, wonderful photo!
That you could freeze that moment so perfectly framed, sharp and smooth together! The happy smile of that young man, his eyes giving you a warm greeting...
This is one of thousands, really! :o)

Hallo Elvira,
ich finde es eine gute Idee den jungen Simitci in schwarz-weiß zu präsentieren.
Gruß nach Osnabrück,

Hello Elvira,
a wonderful spontaneous portrait, very expressive and effective as the young man participates actively in its creation and has fun doing so. I like the way he stands out in the blurry background and the way he has framed his own portrait with his tray and arms. The three-quarter posture and his amused and friendly smile look lovely in this frame. Sharpness, lighting and contrast are superb. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a good month,
Ourania

Hello Elvira
I am drawn to the B/W treatment you've chosen. I reckon B/W is still a really appropriate format for documentary work, as it removes the "tourist-brochure" look that's all too common with colour images. And this is an authentic street documentary image. I love the pose and the expression you've caught: Cartier-Bresson would admire this decisive moment, I'm sure!
P.S. you may not have seen it, but I replied to your kind critique of my cyanotype image, with information about how you might try to emulate the technique digitally.
Regards
Will
