Day's end at the harbour - III, a photo from Istanbul, Marmara

Photographer's Note

Another "days end" capture from the fishery harbour in Sile. A nice resort on the Blacksea shores only 75 km's east of İstanbul.
This ferry served for almost half a century, carrying people from the European part of İstanbul to the Asian part. Nowadays it's been anchored at the peer of Sile and serves nowadays as a restaurant, cafe and exhibition hall !

Bu kare de gün batımına yakın saatlerde Şile balıkçı barınağında çekildi.
15 Nisandan beri av yasağı başladı, ve de balıkçılar şimdilerde teknelerini onarıyor, boyuyor ve de yeni sezona hazırlanıyorlar !
Bu şehir hatları gemisi ise yarım asır kadar İstanbul'un iki yakası arasında insanları taşıdıktan sonra şimdilerde Şile limanında, restoren, cafe ve sergi salonu olarak hizmet vermeye devam ediyor !

The oblique line has the advantage of showing the entire boat and creating deepness. Nice end of the day light in a quality composition.

Merhaba my friend Mesut,
an elegant perspective of the ship in this good visual angle.
I like the light of the late evening, its warm tonalities, and the balance with the shades.
The Turkish flag is outlined with his vivid red color in foreground. and is a really important element in your composition.

Hello Mesut,

This is a fine wide angle shot which gives considerable impact to the image of this lovely boat and gives pride of place to the red flag and the red lifebelts along the railings of the boat too. Beautiful low level evening sunlight illuminates the upper parts of this craft beautifully as well as the distant buildings on the left.

Excellent composition, lovely colours and exquisite detail and sharpness.
