Photographer's Note
The Mevlevi commonly known in English as Whirling Dervishes, are followers of Mevalana Celaleddin Rumi, a 13th century Anatolian mystic and Muslim saint. Through their whirling dance, known as sema, they seek wisdom and communion with God.

Hi! I loved the photo yesterday and I love it today too. This Rembrandt-like light, meaning rather dark)goes vey well with the Dervis. Mysterious. Very well done. Congrats.

It is generally very difficult to manage the counter light at the cermony, which you have overcome very successfully. The light and tones are perfect.
Just a tiny correction: Those who practice this sect are called "Mevlevi".
