Lovely image and I suspect there was much more detail in the cloud below the mountain than shows in this version. Unfortunately you have to look hard to see the graduation of colour in this area.
The photo does seem to be a little over sharpened which has resulted in lines above and below the mountain and around the balloon.
Nice work all the same.

Hello Sayeed,

You end the year with a marvellous shot. It is a magical landscape from above and it was done with a very good composition placing the balloon against the haze to make its silhouette easily noticeable. Very good shot.

Looks like a big bubble on the mountains silently watching the terrestrial activities and above all mundane thing of the world.
We really have to rise above and hope for a better 2012.

Timely shot! Lovely photo. Great how one can let the eye stroll from fg to bg, discovering new things to look at at every layer of the skyscape, Nice hard silhouette, it's a much stronger image the positioning of the balloon is superb against the warm bg colours. The graduated colour in particular is stunning.

Very nice composition of an almost surreal and adventurous landscape. Probably the adventure sensation would have been stronger if we were able to see some people in the balloon.
