Focus seems to be a bit soft, but overall the shot works well showing daily life. Thanks for sharing..

I might have cropped this image a bit in the foreground and the left side. But you were right to wait for those girls to come by.
nice one Hermann.

Aaaaaah I really like this picture! Maybe it is because I have a special feeling for old things, like the car... Very nostalgic... The buildings... the people... Very nice! I did a little workshop Hermann! I hope you like it! Take care:) Ramon

Oh - not many of those around here anymore - I never owned one - but borrowed a grey one years ago.
A fine street life you captured for us and yes I like the compostion, thanks for sharing Hermann.

It is not easy shooting street scene. Either you need to have a strong human presence doing something attention grabbing, or the inanimate subject is attractive enough to hold itself alone. In a way, this photo reminded me of a photo from Henri Cartier-Bresson work.

A very difficult maken a street image with to much light in the background, but Hermann the beatle is perfect on photo, the three girls see the camera not. Excellent perspective and nice composition.

Oh there's some left. But isn't there a new design on the hood to the luggage compartment:)
Nice blue color on this one thanks to the rain. You did right to wait for the girls. Makes the compo better
Well done Hermann

Very real scene. I like the candidness and the nice that goes along with it. IMHO, I think BW will be best for this.

The rainy weather giving a special bright to the shot, a good way to break an old rule: "bad weather no photos".
Good work

definitely you were right about waiting, without those girls the picture would be empty - though I still find that there could be something more in it to make me perfectly happy - it's too ordinary to draw attention for a longer time

Nice perspective in this shot, and I like the shiny surface of the road. I also like the backlight that you mastered very well, but I think I would have sharpened a bit more. And I would have gone down a bit lower for a better angle, but that's a detail.

Nice daily life shot. I particularly like the distortion made by the lens and perspective on the Beetle. Also find very nice the symmetry between the narrow strip of the sky and the yellow line of the ground which point out to the girls. Good dark tones and colors. Just miss a bit more contrast and sharpness.

Oh, this reminds me of my last photo. A beetle in the rain, or a duck in the snow.
The people add something extra. Good capture!

Hallo Hermann,
hervorragende Komposition, exakt der richtige Moment. Leider sind die Mädels zu dunkel. Ich versuch mal einen Workshop.
Grüße Roland
ps. so einen hatte auch mal in grün und ohne Beule.

I like your composition Hermann. Well done. I wonder if with a bit more of sharpness the car comes out better and maybe also crop a bit on the left the image. But these are just nit-picks for a nice shot!
