Photographer’s Note
last light at rose valley,
between Cavusin and Goereme.
It`s the last shot I took in Cappadokia last year and unfortunatelly I had no tripod with me this day.
I had to sharpen, added some contrast but no saturation.
these are the true colors.

Servus Leo,

Tolle Gegend, tolle Farben.

I red your notes in order to understand what rose valley means,it seems a scene from another planet

From this pov it looks a bit like one of the famous canyons in the USA, I think the color levels are very well captured here.
Cheers

Hi Leo,
those various hues on the layers of rock are really beautiful. I love how they go from cold to warm.
Best,

What a phenomenal shot, Leo.
It looks like an alien landscape from a Science Fiction film. I love the light and shadow and all the intricate details. That color is simply amazing. What a fascinating place. great shot! Many thanks and warmest regards,
Shelly

Amicalement

Hello Leo!
Incredible shapes and colors in that magical place!
Your photo is truly attractive and has the best qualities: pov, composition, management of light and so forth! I miss a bit of sharpness, though!
TFS - congratulations!

Hi Andreas
You did well without a tripod. I like the pink hues of colors, very soft on that magnificent landscape. Grandiose. Like JJ, I wonder if it was necessary to include the sky in the frame? Strangely, the view makes me think to Bryce canyon.

Hallo Andreas

Hi Leo,
Wonderful colors, I like these grey, blue and pink, which meet, contact delicately and sometimes mix. I also like this relief which comes to meet the horizontal lines which form the height of the mountain.
A very successful image because she marries the delicacy of tints and aridity of the relief.
Congratulations
Diane
I too, I think that I would have crop the sky.
