I wasn't sure if it was Yeni Mosque or Blue Mosque. Thanks happypoppeye made sure it's the Yeni Camii/New Mosque. The shots I took around the same time also prove it (here's one of them).
These days I'm posting my shots, that I was unsure about. Now that I distance myself from these shots I look at them as if they were not mine and I am less biased (coupled with the xp I gained on TE and TL thanks to your critiques). I got a huge archive, so there's still much to think about.
Shooting. No tripods. ISO 64. Leaned the cam against my finger and set it to shoot in a couple of seconds to avoid motion blur. The public was a bit shocked to see how monkeyish I was trying to deal with my little cannon :)
Compo. Asymmetry helps to see how spacious the interior is. The other contributors to this effect are the light-bulbs hanging from the dome. I think I should have left more space under the lower ring of lights.
Lighting. Hope it's good: there's a contrast between the visible quarter of the dome and the darker area in top left.
Frame. The thin line of light colour separates the edge of the picture from the shadow it casts (right and bottom).
Top left is dark. White is a good contrast to it.
Bottom right is lighter but not light enough to contrast white. Had to add the shadow (again not enough) and then the thin glow.
So these days are days of frames and old shots :)

Ilgiz - it is the "New Mosque" - whether this is also called the Yeni Mosque I'm not sure but it is definitely not the Blue Mosque. I was really getting worried about getting confused myself so I wrote them all down. Either way it is a good shot. ...wish I had a super wide angle or fish eye lens for all the great mosques in Istanbul.
Post Note: yes, it is the Yeni Mosque, right across the highway from the Bosphorus and a few hundred meters from the Galata.

très joli travail sur les détails de cette architecture. La lumière est bien gérée ce qui n'est jamais facile dans ce genre de photo. Bravo.

I think Ottoman Mosques are among the most difficult architectural spaces to take pictures of (lighting, composition, colors etc. are difficult to deal with) and I think you are doing a pretty good job here. I've been working on taking HDR pictures in such spaces, because it allows you some more space with lighting and color. I will post some pictures soon, hopefully. two more thoughts: 1- since you have a very wide aperture in such a dark place, it could have been better to focus on the background instead of the lamps in the front. I like the shiny glass of the lamps, but they would be similarly interesting without being in focus. 2- very informative note, I really appreciate your reference to the other pictures.

It is a very interesting image of the interior of the Yeni Camii, in a visual angle that tries to catch the beauty of the decoration of its domes and at the same time the graphism of the lamps, with a notable result in the composition.
I know by my own experience that these shots are not easy, but you have obtained a good photo.
