Like a firetruck in the narrow streets of Urfa, it was difficult to miss this fiery red load of peppers, signaling its approach with noisy wheels on the cobblestones, echoing through medieval walls.

Good Morning Andre,

I have never seen vegetables looking so alive! The peppers are like a mass of writhing eels.
I like the way you have filled the f/g with this vivid image. The surrounding colours gain a neutrality by comparison.
Love sharp exposure with a fine sense of depth from the repeating arches and guide lines.

haha, great title!
yes you're right....how could anyone miss this guy coming! and of course the large box has to be red also.
and you couldn't have had a better contrast with the yellow/beige walls all around you.
a fine opportunistic shot!

What an awesome shot, Andre. I would have loved to see this sight rolling through the arches here. Amazing color - the bin and the peppers practically leap off the screen, maybe enhanced by the beautiful but muted background. And his expression is priceless - I love it when a moment like this just falls in your lap, and you've really done it justice here.

An engaging portrait with a super title. The vivid red colours really jump out against the more subdued surroundings . The sharpness and detail are top notch and I especially like the sweep of lovely arches gentle curving throught the image and drawing the eye

Whilst not as sensuous as your Baklava food porn shot, this photo appeals to me just as much, but in a different way. maybe cos it's food?? :) The textures and vibrancy of the chillies are wonderful but the cherry on the cake (excuse the pun) is the wonderful guy pushing the trolley, with that beaming smile in the background of all that marvellous ancient architecture. This is daily life at its best. Great shot, thanks for sharing it.
