Kurdish woman, in Kebabci village near of Mardin. The village nearly empty, 'cause of the armed conlict between the kurds and the turkish army.
In 2007 just 3 familys was living there, after the agreement between the villagers andt the turkish local army commanders.
The picture is part of the serie "Pictures from the life of the Never Been Country"

Very beautiful photograph ! Nice shot ! I love the expression of the woman and the texture of the wall behind her.
"wait" is an art... how strong you must be to sit like this for hours... strong in backbone, strong in soul...
