Birds Palaces or Birds Houses are part of tarditional turkish architecture.
Often built close to the roof they mainly give shelter to pigeons.
This one in from Mardin a city in Southeast Turkey.

Every day I learn here, and this is a beautiful lesson today. I had never heard of bird palaces, but what an excellent tradition. I would never have known what to think on seeing a structure like this, but now when I get to see your beautiful country in person someday, I will watch out for such palaces. Fascinating subject and an excellent capture to document it.
thanks as always

Hello dear Mesut,
I'm very impressed by this picture, your symmetrical composition is minimal and neat and the way the symmetry is undermined by the shadows is wonderful. The bold colours make striking contrasts and are irresistible. I love the title you chose, it suits this amazing structure superbly. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,

Excellent textural details in the pitted wall with good sharpness and punchy light contrasts. The fg lamp makes a good focal point. A nice warm cold color contrast at the top between the blue sky and red tiles. Tfs!

An elaborate bird palace, like a multi storied temple, must be for royal pigeons.
I am a birder, but my birdhouses go vacant. At least the birds enjoy my bird feeders and bird baths.
Thanks for sharing,

I love birds, and this looks like a very luxurious home for them. :-) I like the style of this bird house against the stone wall. It's too bad there wasn't a bird peaking out when you took this photo, but it's still nice. :-)

The subject is well framed. The point of view is showing with precision the details and the colors of the birds palace. the good luminosity is bringing out the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
