Çingene kızı Villasın ın yemek odasının taban mozağidir.Bu mozaik büyük ölçüde tahribata uğramı olup, resimli panodan yalnızca kadın başı figürü kalmıştır.

Mozaikte kadın figürünün gözleri sağa doğru bakmaktadır..Kabarık saçları ortadan ikiye ayrılmış ve ensesinden bir eşarpla balanmıştır..Dar alınlı, elmacık kemikleri çıkık ve dolgun yüzlüdür..kulaklarında iç içe geçmiş iri küpeleri vardır. Bu nedenle, ilk bulunduğunda “çingene kızı” olarak adlandırılmıştır. Bir görüşe göre bu figür; saçlarının ortadan ayrılmış olması, gözleri ve burun yapısıyla Büyük İskender olarak ta yorumlanmaktadır..bir başka görüşe göre ise de Toprak Ana Gaia ya benzetilmektedir.Ancak başının yanındaki asma filizlerinden dolayı Dionysos şenliklerinde yer alan Maniad olma olasılığı kuvvetlidir..
Gaziantep Müzesi başkanlığında , Zeugma da 1998 yılı sonbaharında yapılan kurtarma kazılarında bulunuştur

This is the floor mosaic of the dining room of the house of Maenad this mosaic is highly damaged, and of a panel with figures only the head of a girl survives

The girl depicted on the mosaic is looking towards her right..her thick hair is divided in the middle, and tied with a veil on the back of her neck..she has a plump face with a narrow forehead and protruding cheekbones..Her ears are adorned by large earrings with concentric circles..for this mason, the mosaic was initially named “the gipsy girl” according to one opinion, considering the parting style of the hair and the form of her eyes and nose, the figure may be that of Alexsander the great..According ton another point of view she resembles mother earth Gaia..But surmissing from the grapevine shoots next to her head it is highly probable that she is a Maenad who takes part in the Dionysian Festivals

The Gypsy Girl was unearthed during the rescue excavations carried out under the supervision of Gaziantep Museum directorate in the fall of 1998
