Photographer’s Note
Just a scene from the center of Diyarbakır, Eastern Turkey. This is the part of the city that lies within the ancient walls, the longest in Turkey after those of Istanbul. A piece of the wall can be seen at the end of the street.
Until the 1950s nearly the whole population of the city lived in the walled city. This part of the town is now inhabited by the poorest - migrants from the countryside and some Romas. The municipality has plans to "rehabilitate" the quarter; some houses are already demolished.

Hi Jelle
Fine perspective and details in this picture from Diyarbakir. I like the colours and how you framed it. The sharpness could be better anyway is a good photojob
Have a nice day
