The partially restored facade of the lower city fountain. There are a couple of Medusas in the upper arches, and the water supply has been reconnected to allow the waterfall to flow once again after damage from earthquakes. The verticals have been placed centrally in this wide angled view.

The tight frame is putting the ruins in evidence. The point of view is showing the details and the colors of the ruins. The good luminosity is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Is this archeological site much visited ? In my country Sagalassos is quite known because the excavation project is led by a professor of the biggest Belgian university, the KUL.
Thanks to both statues on the foreground we get a good idea of the scale.
Very beautiful that the water supply has been reconnected. This 'fountain' provides a more vivid image of the restored ruin.
Best regards, Paul

Très bonne mise en image de cette fontaine antique que le tremblement de terre n'avait pas épargnée.

Turkey has some of the most fascinating and beautiful ruins and this one looks amazing. A place of real intrigue and beauty which stands out so exquisitely beneath the blue sky.
Have a good week - B.

This is a superbly composed photograph and i loved the contrast provided by the pastel shades of the ruins against the vivid blue sky. The textural details are revealed with excellent clarity and sharpness and the picture benefits from the almost symmetrical composition.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice evening.

Wow, you're seeing more of Turkey than I have, I'm jealous! I have passed through the town of Isparta but I have not been to Ağlasun. This is the first time I have seen a working fountain in ruins. Well done both to you and to those worked on the restoration.
