This is a view of the remaining 5 columns of the Apollo Temple in Side: Below there is some information about this antique city , near Antalya, which has become one of the most popular places for vacationing in Turkey. No wonder that in summer there are a lot of people all over, particularly during the dusk time before and after sunset. The view is breathtaking, because the temple is right near the sea side, and there are a lot of broken antique columns nearby where people climb, and sit during these golden hours. The illumination is also excellent and brings a dreamy atmosphere all over.Side, one of the best-known classical sites in Turkey, was an ancient harbor whose name meant pomegranate. Today a pretty resort town, its ancient ruins, two sandy beaches, many shops and extensive tourist accommodation attract throngs of visitors. There are numerous cafes and restaurants with a view of the sea, and the shops that line the narrow streets seli typical Turkish handicrafts including leather goods and Turkey's famous beautiful gold jewellery. The magnificent theater of the ancient city, built on colonnaded arches, is the largest in the area. Other monuments include the agora, the Apollo Temple. which is situated near the sea. a fountain and necropolis. The extensive Roman baths, now a museum, house one of Turkey's finest archaelogical collections.

Merhaba Izzet Bey. Most innovative shot with its wonderful POV, magical light and combination of glowing colours. The columns raise our eyes to the pure sky and one forgets that one is looking at solid stone because in tour work these columns have become as light as air.Cok guzel. Selamlar. Klaudio.

Hello Izzet Bey,
This is a great photography lesson. It is a breathtaking and incredible beauty,
Best regards,
Tulay

Hello Izzet Bey,
The view is breath taking but also is the photo. The way you have decided to frame and compose the photo and used the light, with the silouette of the lady, superb with the contours well seen and the trees in the background. The colors are just wonderful.
Best personal regards. Salvator.

Your upward pov conveys a greater sense of scale and the human element emphasize that a lot. Great shot of the well lighted columns. Brilliant composition. Well done.

Impressive POV,Terrific capture the lighting of column that push the detail in FG and made it outstanding ,Beautiful color of sky in BG,Highly sharpness for entire FG and very well clarity of color in overall.Good work,TFS.

Hello Mr Keribar,
Those colors of the sky are called humorously as the "barbie hour" on TE :)
You have depicted those columns of antiquity in the best possible way, with a low POV and 10 mm wide angle, presenting them in full range grandeur. The femake figure is even there, ready to emphasize the size of the glorious architecture. Lovely and professional share from Side Apollon Temple.
Best regards,
Deniz

It's very beautiful Izzet!

Last time i was there 2 years ago it was during the day, and i couldn't even see the light effects.

On monday i am flying to Kemer, and i am really looking forward to some nice photo shooting.

Regards,
Madi

Very nice architecture, those ancient greek columns look great to photograph, particularly with these lovely sunset colors and the woman giving a sense of scale.
I'd have loved to see a slightly different perspective where we could see the base of the columns.
