Simena is the ancient Lycian town of Dolchiste / Dolikisthe, on the island of Kekova, & it was destroyed by a terrible earthquake during the 2nd century A.D. From Wikipedia: "The Kekova region was declared a specially protected area on 18 January 1990 by Turkish Ministry of Environment and Forest. All kinds of diving and swimming were prohibited and subject to special permits from governmental offices. In later years the prohibition has been lifted except for the part where the sunken city is."
The town of Kalekoy (Castle Village) is on the mainlaind opposite, and has several pensions and guesthouses, but many people do the day tour from Kas or Olympus, to Üçağız, where there is a carpark and bus station with public buses, then ferry boats unlike Kalekoy which has no public bus station.

After first look at this magnificent pic. of the ruins under the turquoise & transparent water, I went to look up the place on Google-map, but did not find it.
The scene is fabulous, evidence of an earthquake in ancient time, and superbly collected on photo.

La beauté et la couleur de l'eau donne envie d'y plonger pour aller admirer la beauté de la cité submergée. Pour la voir de plus près et aussi pour se rafraîchir. Beau point de vue sur l'ensemble.

The clarity of the turquoise blue water allows us to see below...which is the main attracyion of this picture. In the top part we see what possibly is the remnant of the old city destroyed by the quake...Lovely work!

The colours of the Ak Deniz are superb! Very nice clear water, I also like these ancient ruins. I have to say this is very provocative photo. Because I want to go there too for a rest after long cool summer and hard work. I hope to visit Antalya for a week.
