Photographer’s Note

Summer holiday ....
a reflection of the sun in the pool,at 5.30 am :)

Every day there my days started at 5 am ,because I wanted to catch every sunrise on the beach
After that sublime moment of sunrise ,I used to choose a chair near the pool and there I captured this reflection

Hi Isabela,

it has been worth waiting for the sun to come up as you got this wonderful sunrise which makes the blue color stand out and gives a special atmosphere to the whole scenery: one part in black am the other part completely blue.

Superb shot, Isabela. I spent a fews days many years ago in Antalya at an international medical conference on nuclear medicine (I don't know medicine, I know nuclear physics). But the hotel where I stayed had a pool with a similar attraction — at sunrise. I identify with this shot!

Very pretty and sharp reflection Isabela. On my first view I thought to be a photograph taken through a window and the floor of the pool to be the reflection in the glass, but I was wrong.

Imi este cam greu sa-nteleg ce e in imagine,poate daca m-as urca pe monitor sa o privesc de acolo :-D.Oricum...cate ceva imi dau seama...cum ar fi...fundul bazinului+etc.Ce nu stiu ce reprezinta...parca o reflexie a unor cladiri,o umbra cred...cam 30-35% de la baza.?...sper sa nu ma insel...prea tare :-PP(la ora asta totul e posibil).

N-are importanta anyway...

O dimineata placuta...fara zapada ;-P

PS:...ce are importanta..."in cazul in care nu vb pana atunci" ...iti urez un

Good idea! The slow invasion of sunlight in this blue world, with clear reflections is well captured and the tight frame, where the reality is melted with the illusion creates a moving poetic mood. Very well done. Bravo!

Hi Isabela,
Yes, getting up early can be very rewarding photo wise, I should try doing it more often than just once or twice a year. :-)
When I saw the thumbnail I thought that you had made a mistake with the title, but now I understand how you caught it. The silhouettes of the trees and that thing that looks like an imitation of a historic ruin make a beautiful compo that adds to the magic light and colours.
