Photographer’s Note

Do you remember the old stories with elfs and fairies dancing in the night?

At least I was trying many times to imagine their fabulous world,because there I felt like all is possible

And every time when I look this image I feel like I am again child.The Turkish dancer here made me consider her to be a good fairy :)

Finding TE,as adult,I thought that I discovered another fascinating world,traveling through thousands of pictures

Lately,I faced the real face of TE ,true one of the pictures posted here is still attractive,but the politics of the owners or administrators of TE make us all to feel that we are in a real, bad world....

This is for George ,because my last post PROTEST yesterday was deleted ,and I didnt receive any explanation for that,not an email,nothing!!

Can we imagine TE like a fascinating world after last days?

altceva decat din obicei, cu tot si cu tot altceva... black&blue, plin de poezie, dar si energie in aceasi timp.
Despre note: Pai, ce sa facem, poate greseala e de a noastra, daca ne asteptam prea mult. Ei se autodistrug in acest mod, dar in sfarsit e si treaba lor...

Hi Isabela,

I just wrote to Jeppe that sometimes it looks like the moderators are trying to discourage us all.
Only the friendship that is built up in the years that we look at each other’s pictures and learn more about the world with the eyes of others, keep this community alive, at least I hope. I also was several times on the point to leave TE for the disrespect we get when we unintentionally have broken some rule.
But this gorgeous picture proves that we have to continue and being out of ..... for today and not heaving the possibility to promise them for tomorrow I will reward this picture with a star and add it, for more than one reasons, to my favourites.

Superb shot, Isabela, and a very eloquent message. The "crescent and star" seen in a blur is beautifully captured. I wondered whether it was a belly dancer or whirling dervish, and it is much better not to have it specific.

Hi Isabela,
Yes, TE is still fascinating to me and, as strange as it looks at first, these last events prove it again. We are a very alive human(!) community, capable of uniting protesting against what is wrong and even in the worse moments like this, we (you!) are capable to post beautiful photos like this one, that will put a smile in much faces (not only of our Turkish friends).

a beautiful artistic photo that conveys a sense of movement without being blurry and uninteresting. Very interesting composition and the color comes across strong while still being soothing.
