On saturday is marketday at the roofed market of Konuksever mahallesi in Antalya. This greengrocer is selling eggplants. Eggplants are the basis for many turkish dishes like 'Imam bayildi' or 'Karniyarik'.

Hi Roland,
Like this picture of polised brinjels and the seller who posed nicely.In Uzbekistan, I tasted a few dishes with eggplants, and they were quite well tasty. We also use it in many of our dishes and especially I love fried eggplants. Well taken.
