I mentioned in the notes to the photograph that I posted two days ago titled ‘Against the flow’ that the people in the picture were coming and going from one of Istanbul’s Sunday markets at the southern end of the Galata Bridge. This shot was taken looking over a small part of one of the markets (where they are selling clothes and shoes). I was shooting into the sun, but I thought the semi-silhouettes of the mosques on the hill made a nice backdrop.
No PP except cropping and sharpening.

Now that's busy. I love busy market scenes because I like walking through busy markets. There's an energy with the sounds and sights and smells throughout and this has all of that easily accessible. I can imagine it in full life in all the hustle and bustle. And what a great background with so much atmosphere conveyed with the mosques on the hills.
