Maiden's Tower in the North Wind
We took advantage of the partially sunny skies and went to Kızkulesi (Maiden's Tower) where James Bond's boss M was detained. There was a strong north wind (called poyraz in Turkish) and it was very chilly. We had sahlep in the tower. All I could do outside was to walk around and take a few snapshots.

günaydın Murat Bey,
Alışılagelmişin dışında bir Kız Kulesi.
Bayrağımız, bulutlar ve detayları ile çok hoş, güzel bir paylaşım, pozlama ustaca.

This is a surprisingly rare view of the Kızkulesi. There are so many pictures taken from the Asian mainland (including one of mine) but not many from such a close, low POV. It's a nice view of the sturdy wall and the much more gently curving tower. The dark clouds, temporarily dry, form a very nice backdrop and there seems to be some sunshine passing through them.

I like the upward pointing POV to give the Turkish national flag a proud place in the frame. Nicely framed by the fortifying structures in the FG. Nice one, thanks for sharing.

Hello murat, I went with deniz for evening shots of Kiz Kulesi but frim the Asian shore, so rather far away. It looks very different from close up. Superb shot, fine with the falg and even pigon or seagull in the right place. From the balcony must be fantastic view.

the tower has curious and beautiful shapes, anyway what called me attention was the seagull flying in the top, looks like it was part of the monument.
