Here is a picture of a boy preparing to be circumcised. It is very important to celebrate their circumcision. First the boy comes to the mosque to pray and then he will be circumcised and then a party will be given at home.

Very informative notes. The picture is well exposed as all the detail in the very light coloured clothing the boy is wearing is visible. I would have liked much tighter framing on the boy who is after all the centre of attention here.

This is a very interesting ceremony in the Islamic religion and your notes explain it well. A picture like this belongs on TE to show those who may not be familiar with the custom. I agree with Keitht that it is better to isolate the boy. But your family shot is also very informative. We have to consider this as a journalistic shot.

I think every each person should have excellent expressions and you have caught them very well. It would be better if you had either the mens' face or taken them all out of the photo. Anyways a good example of daily life in Turkey. Good work...

Thank you for sharing this interesting shot!
I think that is interesting not only the boy, but also relatives around him, so I'prefer to see also them and their faces. Anyway, I notice that one lady wears a foulard on her head, and the other one doesn't! So I can imagine that women can wear as they prefer. Therefore I don't agree with Keith workshop, that cut every people !!
