painter and his colorfull work, a good idea and link, but it seems that the portrait is not sharp due to the low DOF and focus on the master piece.

I find it most interesting to be able to view the artist alongside his exceptional creation,he is well positioned in a colourful, well composed photograph.
Kind regards Les.

I don't remember well, where did I read thid, but it was in a lighter vein; after 30 yeras of marriage, husband and wife look like bother and sister.
after 8 years the owner and the pet dog do start looking somewhat simmilar. In the same way the artist here and his works bear a resemblence; see the nose and the cheek of all the three. Isn' it true?
Does this hold good for photographers too............is a question of big debate.

I always love a picture within a picture, and this is a cool example, especially as it incorporates the fine portrait of the actual artist too! Really nice idea to create this unique image. Thanks as always for sharing.
All the best

Perhaps a tiny bit more space between the man's right cheek and the bg painting, as well as the top of his hat, but this is still superb as is. Ps, what are the beaches at Sile like? I don't plan on swimming but love photographing nice seascapes & fishing boats. Ismit is not that far away. Good sharpness and color and a nice capture of this very talented artist. Tfs!

beautiful portrait of the artist and his artwork. Funny painting. Nice composition . Usually we show street artists and they paint landscape, this is quite original.
Thanks for the mail. I still hope to see you :).
