Rumeli Hisari Muzesi (Fortress of Europe).
Overlooking the Bosphorus. Built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 in only four months. It stands opposite his Anadolu Hisari (Fortress of Asia) at the narrowest part of the water as he planned his siege of Constantinople in 1453.

this is a lovely place, the walls and the towers are very interesting and imposing. I like very much the panoramic frame you chose for your presentation, the balance between the towers and the sea as foreground. I think that the photo is a bit overexposed, though, and that the contrast is weak. When this occurs to a picture of mine that I like, I attempt a conversion to monochrome and I was tempted to try this on your lovely picture too. My workshop hasn't changed your composition or added to your description, it has just changed the mood of this view, I hope you'll find it interesting as a different approach. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great Sunday,

A classic view of Rumeli Hisarı, with my Alma Mater (Boğaziši University) on top of the hill.
