Istanbul Trip, Day 5, Scene 1
It continued to rain on day 5, as well, though not as heavy as the day before. In the morning we took care of some bureaucracy. My niece had heard of the restaurant for the Culinary Arts Academy of Istanbul, so we went there for lunch.
Mutfak Sanatları Akademisi (MSA) or the Culinary Arts Academy of Istanbul was founded in 2004. According to its website, it ranks among the top culinary schools of the world. MSA is a private school, approved and supervised by the Ministry of National Education. It is also the only international culinary school in Turkey qualified by City & Guilds, the leading UK accrediting agency. The MSA campus includes professional culinary and professional pastry & bakery kitchens, bar-tending and mixology class, an activity kitchen designed for culinary enthusiasts, conference rooms, Turkey's only culinary auditorium, "The Library of Food & Beverage Expertise and Rare Books" and a thematic museum with a special collection on food & beverage history, the kitchen lab for R&D studies as well as the Okulun Mutfağı [School's Kitchen] Restaurant.

you chose a great perspective for this composition, the whole frame is filled with interesting patterns that create an intriguing environment for the three people. A very rich play of geometries which the soft, diffused light renders atmospheric. I don't know whether you introduced the slight grain on purpose but it softens the geometrical setting in a pleasing way. I like very much the richness and moodiness of the grey tones. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

This is a very nicely designed restaurant, looking fairly simple but very tastefully decorated. The architecture offers lots of interesting lines and shapes which you have captured well. and which have probably profited from the B&W conversion. The mild light is very good too. I had no idea there was such a place in Istanbul. If I ever return there I should look it up. I'm just surprised at the few visitors. Places like this usually attract crowds. Maybe this was already past the lunch hour.

Unique architecture's design indoors, and its marvelous pattern on the window is most attractive.
Set of lamps on left, and a wooden beams ceiling contrast with the simple furnitures of the place.
Wonder how it would look on a colors version.

You're capturing well this culinary auditorium by a good angle and excellent B/W tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see nicely designed restaurant with graphical ceiling/glass and some arts objrcts on wall. The table is arranged efficiently.
