I just happen to love this new shopping mall in Istanbul. Last year I took many pictures after its opening but this year I came again for New Year decorations. They have placed a caroussel and more striking colored lights. The name of the shopping mall is " Kanyon " derived from the word " Canyon " because its shape really reminds a deep curved canyon. Avigur tells me that in means shopping mall in hebrew.

It is really intersting, Izzet. The word Kanyon, is a new name for shopping mall in Hebrew. It is a ward play between "canyon" and the Hebrew word of "buying". It's funny tolearn that they have addopted the name in Turkish.
I like the motion in the picture.
Have a great new year.

I love the swirling lines ending up with our eye on the blurred movement of the carousel. Great colours and wonderful point of view.

One rarely sees so imaginatively designed malls. Diagonal lines and curves makes the space feel more friendly, maybe even less commercial. Naturally it helps that over there it's possible to utilize open space, while here in the north climate has to be taken into account.
Well chosen viewpoint that emphasized round forms. I like the blue sky on the corner.

An excellent long exposure full with experience of master. I like pink part and blurry carousel in motion.
I wish Happy New Year to you and your family.

Très belle et bonne composition : la "purple" volute semble produite et s'envoler à partir de ce manège en mouvement

Hello Izzet Bey,
What can I say other than I find it extraordinarily superb. The pov and the composition, the colors and sharpness are just out of this world.
Best personal regards. Salvator.

This is a real mind bending shot! First of all the colours being so bright and intense really gets my attention. The ultra wide angle, when combined with some interesting architecture, gives some wild lines. At first it's hard to tell what is a result of the wide angle distortion and what is the curved lines of the building. Very striking image!

Hello Mr. Keribar,
It was quite shocking to see such a presentation of Kanyon, i had difficulty in getting right the place, even though i know it so well. Well, this is wide angle, one should get ready to be shocked :)
Perfect exposure and superb sharpess. TFS,

Ellerine saglik bu muhtesem, renga renk fotograf için. It is an abstract form of geometric designs and colors, and at one level it reminds me of a swirl of colors in a large bucket of paint that is being stirred. Have a Happy New Year,
Sevgi ve saygilarimla,

I must admit I'd rather be in a real canyon with far fewer people. But this modern day, industrial shopping marvel is an interesting urban imitation. The way you composed it with the dazzling colors makes it look very attractive. One of the best uses of the 10 mm perspective I've seen. Best wishes,

merhaba izzet bey

Again the same place but this time a vertical view. The colours and the light are very good and the exposure (and the tripod) were very useful in this photo.

Very beautiful colours and really nice perspective in your picture!
Lovely Christmas atmosphere!
