Photographers Note
Happy fathersdat to all fathers and fathers to be !
This is a 30 years old capture of a father and his daughter from my neighbourhood.
At those days it was quite usual that some photographers with huge wooden box cameras, travelled from one summer resort to the other one and made snapshots.
The negatives was been developed in a tin covered box under the camera. From the paper negative, a positive was been reproduced and developed similarly. It took almost 15 minutes to get a postcard size print.
Those cameras was been replaced than by tho polariod photographers. This entry is been scanned from a b&w print.

Hello Mesut,
Happy Fathers Day to you!
This is a splendid archive photo, full of interest from both an historical and human point of view. The family are taking this important event very seriously - the small boys look quite anxious, as lf they are watching a scientific experiment! The view into the house with another two people watching adds a further dimension. Every thing is perfectly placed . This is 'Decisive Moment' photography at its most successful.
Very Best wishes....Maggie >

Hello Mesut,
What an interesting box! I didn't know these boxes existed with direct development of the negative. Very interesting note and a pleasant 'out of the old box' photograph :-).
Greetings!

Oldie goldie Mesut !
Just so lovely and refreshing to look at, that serious girl, kids almost never smiled in those times...:-), the bunch of them in and out of the window, the mother looking out,it's a fantastic composition, so balanced and a most interesting document. There is a lovely smoothness about it, great moment you caught. The sepia tone adds to the mood. Superb work, my heartfelt compliments.

Kind regards

Excellent this charming oldie, dear Mesut, I arrive a bit late to congratulate you but I know that you are a happy father and grandfather and those old photographies in your gallery are specially priceless for their originality and often, some funny aspects in it (the expression of the father is amusing, his daughter very shy in front of the camera !)
Ellinize saglik,
Selam ve sevgiler,
Cath.
