Photographer's Note
Today's photo is also a historic one. It was taken in 1984, long before the shoreline was filled in. The spot where these barges are docked is now dry land.
Back then, ferries that carried vehicles across to Yalova departed from Kartal. You can see one departing in the distance.
The film is showing its age. I left the border on the upper left corner intentionally.
