Another upload of a historic photo today. When I visited home in 1985, we took a ferry ride up the Bosphorus. As a Soviet cruise ship (note the Hammer and Sickle on the smokestack) was passing us, I snapped this photo. In the distance are Istinye docks where ships were repaired. Those docks have since been moved to east of Pendik and Istinye looks much nicer now.
I scanned this from a slide. I cropped the sky a bit, but I deliberately left the other three edges for added nostalgic look.
P.S. One needs to look very carefully to see the Hammer and Sickle on this resolution (highest that TE allows). It is much more noticeable on the original.

You're capturing well this scene by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the big ship which cruises the calm Bosphorus and Istanbul's buildings/houses standing on the hill which is beyond visible. The randam clouds in late summer match well with this sight. It seems to reproduce original scenery faithfully by some minor post process.
