A look up inside the Blue Mosque, Sultan Ahmet Camii. I think the detailed history has been told very often on TE, if not:
In the workshop you can see that the mosque is really overcrowded. I found it nice to see that prayer times are respected, meaning that shortly before prayer time tourists must leave. I couldn't make a nice picture of it, but i highly recommend Yeni Camii, the new mosque, not far away from Sultan Ahmet. There it is much quieter.

gut gelungen, schöne sanfte Farben und gut auf die Symmetrie aufgepasst, die Überstrahlung hält sich in Grenzen. Wäre vielleicht interessant, das Gewimmel, von dem Du sprichst, auch zu zeigen.

Great proportions and positioning for an excellent composition.
The lights are tricky and you have really managed it well.
Fully appreciate the difficulty in getting below the central dome. Dont know if they allow tripods inside. Could you then have managed an even higher exposure ... Do take a look at my attempt on colour and brightness on the WS

a really fascinating ceiling with the colourful domes to make the image even more attractive and unique.I like the clarity and the sharpness of the scene as the excellent light and colour management.

I have seen the Blue Mosque on the telelvision so have an idea of the large area that you were trying to capture, here. You have done well, giving it a very symmetrical composition which helps to define the beautiful patterns.
Your control of the light and sharpness of the exposure are commendable.
My warm regards,

One of the places I most want to see, Franz. Great shot of the domes here, with brilliant clarity and great light - excellent use of the wide angle to show the full scope of the place. Awe inspiring!

A classic shot with taste, the landscape mode works for me, the symmetry is almost perfect.
Good advice by the way. I may also add the Rustempasa Mosque very near the Yeni Camii, a marvelous tiny mosque with wonderful tiles of the same period as the Blue Mosque's.

Schöne Farben , gutes Licht und alles scharf, man kann viele Details gut sehen. Perfekte Symmetrie.
Hat sich gelohnt nach oben zu sehen.
Habe Lust das bald mal wirklich zu sehen.

Indeed a fine ceiling of the domes of the Blue mosque which comes out beautifully in this symmetric composition. Exposure of the difficult light has been handled well. Well done!
