Photographer's Note

This photo is the typical postcard that all the tourists we want to immortalize with our cameras, and I was not an exception.

It’s a capture from a ship that sails across the Bosporus Strait in a tourist very interesting cruise for to see the urban landscape and the architecture of the city of Istanbul in its two shores, the European one and the Asian one.

The peculiar building with a different color in every floor, the great Turkish flag in another elegant building, and the red ship, with the city in background in the European shore, they were offering me a colourful and very pleasant image, I hope you like also.

Esta foto es la típica postal que todos los turistas queremos inmortalizar con nuestras cámaras, y yo no fui una excepción.

Es una toma desde un barco que recorre el Estrecho del Bósforo en un crucero turístico muy interesante para conocer el paisaje urbano y la arquitectura de la ciudad de Estambul en sus dos orillas, la europea y la asiática.

El peculiar edificio con un color diferente en cada planta, la gran bandera turca en otro elegante edificio, y el barco rojo, con la ciudad al fondo en la orilla europea, me ofrecían una imagen colorida y muy agradable, espero que os guste también.

Hola Josep,
At first sight, I find the building with each floor in a different bright colour (a covered parking, I thought but I'm not sure) out of place into the cityscape of the historic Istanbul.
Architects will defend it as 'Calling to a discussion'.
But I have to say that on this picture it is well compensated by the red boat. And I think this boat is certainly not misplaced in the city view. On the contrary, he brings along a very vivid colour.
So perhaps the architects are right about the building too ...
It's a sharp shot taken into account the fact that you took the picture from a sailing boat.

Hello Josep,

That colorful building looks like a multilevel parking lot , each level being coded with different color. They grab the attention along with the big red Turkish flag on the side of the building. The red and white ship is another eye catcher. These are all nicely tucked between the blue sky and blue water. Very sharp image with many kinds of buildings along with the people on the port. A very colorful and lively shot.

really the colours of the image are well captured and are presented excellent with the saturation of them to be the eye catcher of the image.I like the red colour of the ship,with the colourful building on the left, to makes the image so alive and unique.The clarity and the sharpness is flawless with the light management to brings out the details of the buildings.Well done my friend.

Maravilloso Estambul, una delicia siempre contemplar estas imagenes, aunque sean conocidas, sin duda todos esos elementos de color hace la imagen mas impactante, sin embargo me encanta la armonia de color en sus viejos edifcios con el azul del Bósforo, el cielo esta magnificos con esos tonos suaves y da gran belleza a la composicion.Ese muelle donde vemos tanta gente aporta un buen toque vital a la imagen.
Como siempre cuidadisima tanto la luminosidad como la perfecta nitidez, un esplendido traajo. Felicitaciones.
Os deseo un feliz inicio de semana.
