Image of ORTAKOY Mosque, take on the Istanbul TE meeting.
Ortaköy Mosque, officially the Büyük Mecidiye Camii (Grand Imperial Mosque of Sultan Abdülmecid) in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey, is situated at the waterside of the Ortaköy pier square, one of the most popular locations on the Bosphorus.
The original Ortaköy Mosque was built in the 18th century. The current mosque, which was erected in its place, was ordered by the Ottoman sultan Abdülmecid and built between 1854 and 1856.

beautiful view on one of the most famous mosques in Istanbul. I like the different from usual POV (usually this mosque is shot with the bridge in the BG)and the details.

Rikk has right, you have photographed it from the reverse angle, which is difficult to find, because you did the photo from boat, different than many photos taken from the coast.
Marvellous details here, and i mostly like the "two minarets - two skyscrapers" duality.

Hello Iulian!
I agree with some TE members who said the pov was original to present this famous Mosque here! I like that!
Exposure, colors, pov, composition are all excellent indeed! As for sharpness, maybe a little too much, resulting in a rather "artificial" feeling as I look to it! Well, If I think of it more as a painting-like photograph... I like it! Otherwise, as I said... it doesn't look real!
