Istanbul Trip, Day 2, Scene 2
In the afternoon of my first full day in Istanbul, we went to Sakıp Sabancı Museum, a short walk from my sister's condominium where I was staying. They had just started their new exhibition Distant Neighbour Close Memories: 600th Anniversary of Turkish - Polish Relations. What better activity could there be than a museum visit on a dreary day? This was taken on the last bend as we climbed the road up to the museum. It shows the rest of the road to the entrance through a mirror and evidence of spring with the trees in bloom. The signage at the entrance to the museum is shown in the workshop.

Merhaba Murat Bey,
I like very much the composition with the heavy foliage ahead and the reflection of the curving driveway behind you. This is wonderful museum, especially when it has visiting exhibitions. I remember two unforgettable exhibitions one of Picasso's early works and on another occasion an exhibition of the evidence of trade between the Venetians and the Ottomans.

Hello Murat, I follow you trip to Istanbul :). I wonder what was on this exhibition, it would be interesting to me to see it. I am rather bad in history that the only thing that comes to my mind (and to mind of every Pole) is Sobieski and Vienna.
I like this composition with the golden shower and interesting reflection of the curve of the road.
Warm regrads MAlgo

Technology in nature, I'd name this Murat.
The mirror, road-camera and the warning-light indicate how dangerous this curve in the road is.
Dip in green surrounding, the modern aparatuses are in fine contrast to the veg.'s.
Have a nice new week.

Looks like a very dangerous bend. With hazard light and camera attached to the mirror.

There is a great combination of colours, natural and artificial, and the view in the mirror is a fine and amusing detail. It's hard to imagine that this is somewhere in central Istanbul.

You're capturing well the surrounding nature of Sakıp Sabancı Museum by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's intersting and impressive to see the colorful foliage with green and yellow, and trees. It's also interesting in mirror projected to the surroundings. It's good experience to visit the museum because we can know history or cultute of country.

I would have guessed "take a nap" on a rainy day, but going to a museum is just as profitable I suppose. :) Very interesting picture, we get that 2-for-1 result with the fish-eye mirror in play. I really like how it makes me stop and visualize the scene from what we can't actually see without use of the mirror. Love the greens and yellows filling the frame, feels like we're in a forest. Colorful and lively scenery, nicely arranged. Enjoy the rest of the evening. Take it easy.

you boldly filled a grand vertical frame with dense, intricate and vibrant textures and colours, without some points of reference this photo would look like an abstract composition, with an intriguing layout of colourful patterns. The reflection in the round mirror is really attractive, the dynamic curve of the mysterious road captivates our attention. The depth of the reflection is very delightful too. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

Merhaba Murat Bey,
Missed this one. Love the mirror here showing the winding road to drivers. Green and leafy and a nice temporary escape from the concrete jungle of central Istanbul. The yellow flowering tree looks a bit like Indian Laburnam. Tfs!
