Photographer’s Note

Second one in my gallery is the famous turkisch writer Yaşar Kemal, also a friend of mine. Taken in one of his most beloved corners; a simple cafe house at Bosphorus, visited mainly by fishermen.

Hi,
Superbe B & W, offrant une belle gamme de gris et un contraste parfait ! L'argentique n'est pas mort ! J'aime beaucoup ce cadrage en pleine plongée, ça donne une composition aérée, où les détails sont bien retranscrits. Bravo !

ooooh..i like this...finally something off the film...and its a great photo dear Mesut..there is a story..a lifetime of philosophy in this frame..

the light..the way the man has his hands below the cheeks..deep in thought maybe...his disposition..

For the while, this one is my favorite in your "portrait galery". I like the POV showing the man in his environnement. Interesting geometry, despite of some flaws : "your cup of tee" and some white drops on the left.
