Anadolu Hisarı is a fortress located in Istanbul,Turkey on the Anatolian(Asian) side of the Bosphorus.It was built in 1394 by ottaman sultan (Yıldırım) Beyazıt I.It is stuated at the narrowest point with 660 m of the Bosphorus strait and next to a creek named Göksu.Today,this tiny fort creates a picturesque appearance with the old wooden houses leaning to its walls and surrounding.

Hi Setenay, this is a lovely shot - sharp & clear. I particularly like the juxtaposition of the old (Anadolu hissar) and the new(er) - the beautiful yalis. An effective and striking composition, highlighting istanbul's varied architecture. Aferin!

This is a very nice picture. I like the way you shot the castle in reference to the house on the left. Very interesting architecture and colours, specially the blue house on the left!
