Securely tethered and standout,,
The sort of beaten-up old rope, good bit of fraying too that is still worth to the mariners who rely on it. Fantastic, the colors and textures really pop, but i strongly believe this definitely works best in black & white probably because of the fraying. It has more impact without the distraction of colour thus allowing the light and those fibers to speak for themselves. It's a great shot well paid off. Impressive work and tfs

Striking graphism with the interesting textures and forms and shapes, all in excellent qulity. This image would look on a wall and, if it were mine, a print would have been up there. Well seen. Best wishes.

Technical a very well picture, with pleasant colours.

I can smell this! I have been on those ferry boats so many times that I know what it smells like right at that spot - a combination of hot motor oil and paint! This is my favorite kind of photograph, taken through a small opening. BTW, if you were going from Eceabat to Çanakkale, you were crossing the Dardanelles. The Bosphorus is the northern straight.

Hello dear Dawn,
this one is a gorgeous close-up on the rope and the bollard, with a splendid management of the depth field and of the exposure, and a great sharpness which allows us to see clearly all the details and the textures of these elements.
Well done, it's a powerful work.

an image with few elements and an almost abstract mood. I liked the colors and the light. TFS.

I like this example of minimalism in composition. Simple but very interesting photo, perfect sharpness, original frame. Good idea and excellent realisation!

Simple as that, Dawn, just a nice tie of the ship rope.
Close view on the anchorage point, good sharp details.
Maybe, just missing a lower part of the window - a 1/2m backwards would do better perspective.
