Photographer's Note

The name of the village is Yeşilyurt, and it is located on the high slopes of the Ida mountains at Northern Aegean coast of Anatolia. The region has seen many civilizations such as Trojan, Leleg, Midilli, Persian, Roman, Seljuk and Ottoman. The influence of these ages can be seen in the architecture and craftsmanship of the village. There are about 200 houses in the village, and all of them were built by using those local stones in a traditional style. If you ask, why and how is that Siamese cat there, I also have no idea about it..
