I love the minimalism here, accentuated by the choice of monochrome. The rim-lighting, which outlines the gunwhales of the boats is almost all we have, and it creates a very pleasing geometrical pattern. Well seen and treated.

Dramatic use of B&W and the accentuated curves of the boats. The black spaces are brought to life by the interesting lines and shapes. A creative result. Best wishes. Klaudio.

güzel ışık ve değişik bir siyah beyaz çalışma olmuş. elinize sağlık.

Beautiful contrast here, Cagla, with the light limited only to the upper edges of the boats, creating an abstract pattern. Well seen and taken.

kayıkları her açıdan gördük diye düşünürken bile böyle değişik örnekler çıkabiliyor. siyah beyaz çok yakışmış.

this is the essence of b&W picture: the light reflected on the boats make a superb maze/

yes, we were in Istanbul for about 4 days.
loved the city, its so much different than anything we have here in Canada! For that reason alone it was a wonderful visit! The people were very friendly and helpful :)
as for this photo, its a sweet example of how to effectively contrast light and shadow, light and dark lines.
well chosen all around! excellent post

uyuyan kayıklar ancak çarpışma sesleri var gibi

a minimalistic, graphical B&W view which gives us the imagination of a soft moon shining on the boats - though I assume that this is not true. Colour does not matter here. I like it.
