This is very nice reminder from Gemlik with view of all shore and white ship too. Visitors are helping to us imagine the scale of your landscape view and adds the life needed for your photo. Congratulations.
I'd a workshop, hope you don't mind. I would like to see your photo more bigger, but I think your software setting is currently to 96 DPI and that's why you can't post bigger size under 200K. You can change it to 72 DPI because computer screens can not show resolution more then 72 DPI.
I wish you and your family a healthy, happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year and a very good week-end.

Very good composition although a little rotation to the right would correct the ships position as it seems to be going up hill (water) a bit.
Very clear photograph well done

Gayet guzel bir fotograf olmus. sudaki yansimalari, kucuk tekneyi ve sahilde yuruyenleri kadraja alman cok iyi olmus. Boylece geminin buyuklugu hakkinda cok net fikir sahibi olabiliyoruz.

I thought I had already critiqued this one, when I saw parbo's WS.
It's a nice compo/pov, with the ship very well framed between that piece of land on the lower right and the town on the bg. I like its dynamics, with the tringular shapes of of the land going from the lower right to the center left.
The haze adds so mood, which is nice, but it also makes it a bit too pale. parbo did a good job correcting that.

Very nice colors on these picture, I like the bright light of the sun which is it still low and still dark background with a hill with the city. Thank you for sharing!

well composed with fine pov,

Great shot Bulent. I like the misty background - it makes the white ship really stand out sharply. Nice view of the town too, and the little boat in the foreground adds a nice quirky touch. Aferin!
Yffic (6106) 2007-01-19 3:27
A very calm atmosphere mixed with a very sharp subject: all gives a very nice shot.
The luminosity on your picture is brillant.

Such a lovely shot, Bulent. You have great composition and the color seems to glow. I love the soft colors of the houses in the background. The small boats and the people in your photo give a good idea of just how huge that ship really is. VERY well done!! TFS, Shelly

Good shot of this giant vessel. The lighting on it is quite spectacular and I quite enjoy the housing in the background which adds extra interest to the work. A fine view of this place.
xuaxo (6846) 2007-02-13 9:08
That is very nice contrast between the beautifully illuminated white ship and the softer (darker) background.

bon contraste et splendide lumière
claudigan (2837) 2007-02-24 16:43
Really nice shot, i love the opposition between the 2 white boats.
People and building give to that white ship an human dimension really positive opposite to the usual opinion people can have about that kind of boat.

When a gallery is full of masterpieces bordering on the genius it makes the task of chosing one very difficult. Like it happened with me when i clicked on your work. All the images are absoloutele masterpieces. They are great and well crafted ideas that abound in colours and textures and superb compositions. i simply love your images.
PixelTerror (0) 2007-03-01 4:58
what I like here is the light on the boat, it helps it stand out against the rest in a very good way, maybe you could have shot it a little bit earlier to avoid the from overlap with the pier.
Have a nice day,
danos (90435) 2007-03-01 7:47
nice the view of this ship with a good composition with the ship to be framed very well between the of land on the lower right and the town on the background.Ι like the light that falls on it and whiten more.Well done.

rhizomes (15343) 2007-03-08 15:20
Impressive to see the gigantic ship compared to the human scale...Nice light too.
branley (3681) 2007-03-09 10:31
the fantastic light and the whiteness of the vessel makes the ship look a little ghostly and it's only when we see the small boat and the people that we can begin to see how gigantic it really is. Maybe it could have been placed a little more to the right to avoid the bow 'running in to the pier' but it's a minor point and it's still a fine shot, well done.

gunbud (34066) 2007-03-22 21:53
Beautiful massive ship sitting proudly in this misty morning as it awaits to unload its tasty cargo. The small boats and people walking along the pier give nice definition and scale to your subject. The distant skyline gently lends great depth to this beauty.
