A capture I have made in the famous Ulu cami in Bursa.
Those two man were sitting close to the altar and praying.
The big sized arabic calligraphy above their heads reads Allah = God. The one under it is the last letter of the alphabet the vav = v . It symbolises the unborn baby in the womans womb.

This is a fine composition where the two praying men create a natural focus in spite of the tough competition from the beautiful Arabic calligraphy. There is a good contrast between the mainly red carpet and the mainy white wall.
Kind regards, wishing you a nice weekend,

I admire the contrast in colours with the men seated on the red carpet well placed in front of the interestingly decorated wall.
The square format is very suitable for the subject.
Kind regards Les.

Hi MERHABA dear MESUT, how are you?
Very solemn and sacred iamge at all.
Perfect cropping makes so stable and complete framework as such. Sharp and clear presentation is already your trademark as usual.
Thanks a lot for your sharing and have a good Sunday! Takero just away from Tokyo

Good note, remind me that once I asked for a translation of what was written at Paris 's mosque, I show with this my interest at the guardians and obtained a good personal tour
Good and catching capture of the praying men at this solemn interior

Merhaba, my friend Mesut,
an intimate and spontaneous scene here, with these two praying men inside the mosque, under a huge arabic calligraphy.
Your good information about these big letters is very interesting, thanks for it, I like the nice symbolism of the "vav" letter.
An excellent exposure management, and a sharp and well lit image.

Hi Mesut, Fine scene from Bursa mosque. I wanted to post very similar photo. As you remember, I was fascinated with this vav letter that we see here below 'Allach". As for me, still using only beta, the photo is too big and it is difficult to see the whole composition and it need a lot of scrolling in both direction. Splendid calligraphy.
