Photographer's Note

Ida dağlarında dolaşıyorsanız, karşınıza her an böyle sürprizler çıkabilir.

Altınoluk is a place of beauty on the hillside of mythological Ida Mountains where the holy olive trees combine with the blue water of Aegean Sea. It's situated at the west coast of Turkey, and Gulf of Edremit on the Aegean sea. It is said that the people who couldn’t find a way to get cured for certain lung diseases, have their normal healths back again when they come to Altınoluk. The high level of oxygen in the air, the air corridors of the canyons which convey fresh air and oxygen from the pines in the Ida mountains and the healing herbal richness of the region are the main reasons of this curing effect of the town.
