Photographer's Note

This photo had been taken while the Eastern Express is climbing up on the mountains between Karasu and Saptiran stations. In the right side Mayram Mountains can be seen. This kind of awesome panoramas are usual during the train trip which is taking 36 hours between Istanbul and Kars.

A lovely composition Seref.I like the inclusion of the train as part of the frame for your shot.The details in the landscape are beautiful.There is a lovely light from the sunshine and yet we know that it is still winter as you convey a feeling of cold.Like this one very much.

Nice shot Seref, I like this showing the train on the edge of the rame, it sets up the story very well. From the look of the countryside I bet the wind in your face as you took this was rigid. The colors are good representatives of winter, very nice capture.

Did you do the whole distance = from Istanbul to Kars with that train ? I think that in Turkey, trains are comfortable to sleep, but often during daytime, if the scenery is nice, I don't have the patience...
Still, this is a very nice photo and the viewpoint is excellent.
