[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Bir onceki fotografta Agri Dagi'nin Kucuk Agri ile beraber goruntusune yer vermistim. Bu fotografta ise Agri Dagi'na tirmanis icin kullanilan cephesini goruyorsunuz.

Tırmanışlar İçin En Uygun Zaman Temmuz, Ağustos ve Eylül aylarıdır. Kış tırmanışları zorlu ancak zevklidir.

Agri Dagina cikislar Dogubayazit - Topcatan Koyu - Eli Ciftligi güzergahından olmak sartiyla yalnizca dagin Dogubayazit sinirlari icinde kalan cephesinden yapilmaktadir.

Dogubayazit’ta konaklayan dagcilar tirmanis icin gerekli hazirliklari burada tamamlayarak otomobil ile Eli koyune ulasirlar. Burada su ikmali yapildiktan sonra 7-8 saatlik bir yuruyusle 3200 m. yukseklikteki ilk kamp yerine varilir ve burada geceleme yapilir. 2. gun 4-6 saatlik bir tirmanisla 4200 m. dolaylarinda ikinci kamp yerine ulasilir. 8-10 saatlik tirmanisla doruga ulasilir ve birinci kamp yeri olan 3200 m.ye donuş yapilir. Kisin ise buna kar kosullarina gore 2000 m. civarinda bir kamp daha ilave etmek gerekebilmektedir.

In the previous photo I presented a view of Mount Ararat and Little Ararat together. In this photo you can see the side of Mount Ararat being used for climbing.

The best time for climbing is July to September. Winter climbing is very difficult but extremely rewarding.

Ascents of Mt. Ararat can only be attempted on the portion of the face that is within the district boundaries Dogubeyazit, and must follow the Dogubeyazit - Topcatan village - Eli Ciftligi route.

Climbers staying at Dogubeyazit can make their final preparations for climbing here and continue by car to the village of Eli. After getting water here, the first campsite, which is at 3200 m, takes 7-8 hours to reach. On the second day, after a 4-6 hour climb, one can expect to reach the next campsite at around 4200 m. It takes about 8-10 hours to reach the peak and to return to the first campsite at 3200 m.

Very nice picture of this wonderful landscape.
This peak is really esthetic and colours are great and natural.
I think your picture would be better with a panoramic framing with less sky.

bizi davet ettigin icin tesekkürler. Fakat asla zirveye tirmanmayacagim. Benim yasimda 800 m yüksek olan daglar tirmanmak icin yeter.
Sen de tirmanmadin, degil mi?

Awesome shot Seref, your color is fantastic and the subject is just magic. The detail is awesome and the showing of the lava fields or errosion area at the bottom of the mountain is great, I would have thought it rising from a plain but it is different and wonderful. Great capture.
